Burns-Bellhorn Fund Scholarship

The Burns-Bellhorn Fund Scholarship is available not only to current graduating seniors at Winters High School and Wolfskill Continuation School, but also for those graduates of Winters schools who are currently in the work force and wish to continue their education in a trade or vocational school or junior college. The scholarship is for students who wish to learn a trade or vocation or go into business or other endeavors that are different from the usual careers provided by a standard four year college education.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be a Winters High School senior or graduated from Winters High School
  • Must be a Wolfskill Continuation School senior or graduated from Wolfskill Continuation School
  • Be attending a Junior College, Vocational School, Trade or Technical school in the fall
  • Have an intended career goal of becoming a tradesman, business person or entrepreneur
  • Have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale

Applicants will be contacted for an interview in May. The scholarship recipient will be announced by the end of May.
