Raymond Nelson Scholarship Fund

The Raymond Nelson Scholarship Fund was established in memory of Raymond Nelson, a great community leader and philanthropist to support the education of a deserving student at a University of California, California State University or other accredited northern California university. The said student will have demonstrated an understanding of the value of giving back to the community and also an understanding of entrepreneurship and its value to local economic development.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Be an undergraduate attending a University of California, California State University or an accredited University in Northern California
  • Be pursuing a business related degree with a focus in management, administration, computer science, managerial economics or entrepreneurial studies
  • Have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0
  • Be enrolled in at least 12 academic units per quarter/semester during the year of the scholarship award

  2. Letter of Recommendation: Please provide two letters of recommendation from individuals who are not related to the applicant (one letter should be from a teacher)
  3. Second letter of recommendation
  4. Are you attending University of California Davis or California State University, Sacramento in the upcoming academic year
  5. Are you attending a University of California, California State University or an accredited University in Northern California in the upcoming academic year
