Bryan Potts Scholarship

Bryan Potts, a member of the Rio Americano High School class of 1986, was a versatile student whose enthusiasm for living extended into all areas of his life. His qualities were much admired by his family and friends, and it is in remembrance of those qualities that this scholarship fund was created. It is the hope of the Bryan Potts Scholarship’s contributors and selection committee that, by annually recognizing a Rio Americano senior who shares Bryan’s joy of living, Bryan’s life will continue to touch young people in the community. The selection of the Bryan Potts Scholar is designed to identify a deserving student who best exemplifies Bryan’s personal characteristics. The selection committee will look for that student whose zest for life enriches others and whose inquisitiveness leads to greater knowledge and self-understanding. Ideally, the Bryan Potts Scholar will be an affectionate, warm person whose presence lends a touch of humor and vitality to every situation.
