SAFE Scholarship Program

SAFE Credit Union is accepting applications for its scholarship program. We’ll award four students heading to college, university, or trade school this coming fall with a $4,000 scholarship.

Eligibility requirements

• Applicant must be a member of SAFE with a checking or savings account in good standing*
• Applicant must be a graduating high school senior or attending a community college with 60 or fewer units
• Applicant must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Applicant must currently be attending a school in the 13 counties SAFE serves
• Applicant must be planning to attend college, university, or a trade school in fall 2025

Applicant must be a member of SAFE with a checking or savings account in good standing. A member in good standing has an active account with SAFE and is not in default on any loan obligation to SAFE. Awarded scholarships will be directly deposited into the member’s SAFE Credit Union account. Checks will be provided upon request.

SAFE serves members in the following counties: Sacramento, Placer, Yolo, Yuba, Sutter, Alameda, Amador, Butte, Contra Costa, Nevada, San Joaquin, Solano and El Dorado.
